"Easy Hoodie Exchange"
Well... I ordered a hoodie from Studio Ghibli Shop and accidentally picked the wrong size. I was a little nervous about having to exchange it, but it ended up being really simple. I emailed them and got a response the next day with clear instructions. I sent it back, and they kept me updated the whole time, so nothing felt confusing. The replacement arrived and fits much better. Overall, really happy with how they handled it, no hassle, no long wait. I’d definitely order from them again.

I had a smooth time using ghibli-shop.com. i wasn’t expecting much because some fan shops can feel like they were built in 2008, but this one was actually easy to get around. The pages loaded quickly, the menu made sense, and I found the figures and shirts without having to click through a maze.
Checkout was simple too, which is always a nice surprise. The product photos were clear, and the site worked fine on my phone without doing anything weird. Overall, it’s not exactly groundbreaking, but it gets the basics right, and that made shopping there painless.

"Checkout Didn’t Feel Secure Enough"
I was ready to grab a few cute things, but once I got to checkout, I started second-guessing it. The payment page looked basic, and I couldn’t really tell how my card info was being handled or if I’d get a proper confirmation email or receipt afterward. It might be totally fine, but it just didn’t give me enough confidence to finish the order. I think they really need to make the payment security and order confirmation process clearer.

I was pleasantly surprised by how closely the design matched the pictures. The details looked clean, the colors came out nicely, and there weren’t any weird changes or cheap-looking print issues. Overall, I’m really happy with how it turned out.

"Refund was quick, but canceling was annoying"
I had to cancel my order from ghibli-shop, which was annoying. I really don’t like dealing with cancellations, and I was already worried the refund would turn into a whole thing. Waiting for money to come back is always frustrating, and I hate when you have to keep checking your card over and over. But to be fair, the refund showed up fast, within a couple days. Support kept it simple and didn’t give me a hassle, which was a nice surprise. Still annoying that I had to cancel in the first place, but the refund part went better than I expected

I tried the code and it actually worked right away. The price dropped just like it said it would, which was nice because sometimes these things don’t apply, or they only work on certain items, or the discount disappears at checkout, or there’s some random fine print. This one was straightforward. I entered it, checked the total, and the price went down

Just a heads up for anyone hunting for Ghibli merch: I was surprised by how much was actually available on ghibli-shop.com. I checked a few other sites first and kept running into sold-out listings, which got annoying. Here, I found the plush I wanted, plus some smaller figures and bags that were still in stock. The site was easy enough to browse too, so I wasn’t wasting time clicking on stuff that wasn’t available. Definitely worth checking if you’re tired of dead-end listings.

I’m really glad I found ghibli-shop.com because it feels way more trustworthy than a lot of other anime merch sites I’ve come across. Knowing the items are officially licensed makes a big difference, especially compared to some competitors where you’re never totally sure what you’re getting. The site was simple to browse, the products look super cute, and overall it just feels like a legit place for Ghibli fans to shop. No major complaints from me.
